all words are my own writing so please do not steal it

Hello! I'm the doctor and i thought i would regal you with one of the many adventures that I've had with many a companion along for the ride. Like most things i do i never tell them in sequence so you'll have to bare with me on that. Presently the adventure that has come to mind was while i was in my 2nd incarnation and my companions are that time were young Ben Jackson and Polly Wright. This relates to the adventure of .....

                                    The King of Golden Death

as my young companions of the time would come to call it.

(Ancient Egypt approx: 1323B.C. Just after the burial of the 18th dynasty pharaoh Tut-an-kham-un the boy king.)

The Tardis exited the time vortex and re materialized into deep darkness. One of my current companions Ben Jackson as soon as the tardis landed walked with quick steps towards the tardis doors and placed his small hand apon the handle and opened the door and stepped outside. When he turned back towards myself and Polly Write he speaks and says that

"it's like a grave."

Hearing his words i calmly walk out side and join him and in agreement state that

"indeed it is a grave, but not just any grave the tardis had materialized inside an Egyptian pharaho's tomb."

When i turn my head to face my companions i notice that they are relieved and hear them state that

"the long dead"

did not scare them. In response to their spoken words i in turn replied that that the pharaoh isn't long dead since the grave hasn't been ransacked. And that they are in a time some thousands of years before their birth. Because the air is so fresh and suggests that the tomb may have only just been sealed. As i speak Polly is currently looking around her in wonder at the pile of gold and jewellry and makes the suggestion that they.. meaning herself, Ben and i should help ourselves to that which is just laying around. Horrified by this suggestion i state no that we can not take something that does not belong to us even if it is in a tomb of the recently dead. And while she and Ben are not happy with this statement i wander around until i find what I'm looking for. The name of the pharaoh that lies buried here in this tomb.

                                            Tut-Ankh-Amen..

When i speak the name of the boy king my companions mouth's drop open in wonder and soon agree that they could never remove anything from the tomb of the boy king which has yet to be found. when asked by Polly when exactly the tomb is discovered i state not until 1922 by a man called Howard Carter and his benefacter George Herbert the 5th earl of Canarvon. Only to be interrupted by young Ben as he hears a sound. Turning towards it we all realize that it is the sound of men with spades and picks indicating that the tomb of the boy king is about to be ransacked and robbed of everything that it has which. As the diggers break through a nearby wall my female companion Polly screams in fright which brings the bigging to a halt when the tomb robbers hear it. This in turn gave young Ben an idea that would prevent the robbing of the tomb of the boy king and he asks me to take Polly back to the tardis so that he can carry out his plan to frighten the would be tomb robbers at the same time protecting the treasure that lie hidden within until their discovery in 1923 which was yet to occur.

As the two grave robbers burst into the tomb of the boy king Ben picks up the golden face mask of the pharaoh, and places it quickly apon his face, where the robbers are met by the sight of the dead pharaoh walking towards them. They flee in terror, bringing down a huge rock fall on the way out. Ben then returns the mask back to where it belongs and makes it back to the TARDIS and the ship takes off again. leaving the tomb once more undisturbed until its eventual find in the valley of the kings in Egypt in 1923.
